Obituary for Beryl Marshall

Beryl Irene Marshall (November 19, 1935 - January 02, 2017) On January 02, 2017 we all lost a woman who was dearly loved by everyone who met her. Beryl's home had a door that never closed. To say she will be missed by family and friends would be inaccurate. In her heart and home everyone was family. Quite simply, she had more people call her mom, auntie Beryl, and grama than anyone would think possible. Like her parents, she claimed friends, neighbours, friend's of friends and all of their families as her own. She had inner strength and stamina that allowed her to cope with polio from the young age of seventeen. With determination and drive, she lived a full life and raised a family along side Eddie, her husband of 43 years. Those left with a void in their hearts are her daughter Mona, son Kevin and his wife Katherine, her grandsons Trevor and Brady along with his family, Janelle, Jake, and Reese. She also left behind her sister Loretta, her brother Allan, his wife Edna, and sister in law Betty Johnston. The list continues with countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and so many more in her huge extended family. With everyone being equal in her heart, the list is never ending. We are confident that each and every one of you know exactly who you are!!! The life long love and support has been more than anyone could ask for and is a true testament to her character and unconditional love for all those around her. Loved ones who have helped pave her path, are her husband Eddie Marshall, parents Inez and Clelie Swain, brothers Danny (wife Evelyn) and Rodney Swain, nephew Ritchie, niece Angela, Andy and Peggy Marshall, brothers in law Les, Larry, and Jack (wife Nora) Marshall, sister in law Eileen (husband Johnny) Hooke, brother in law Don Johnston, cousins Murray and Betty Donaldson, and precious family friend Cole Bonar. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cerebral Palsy Association, #121, 7015 MacLeod Trail SW, Calgary, AB T2H 2K6 would be heartwarming. Beryl's life will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017 in the McQueen Memorial United Church, 4808 - 49 Street, Mannville, AB. We hope you join us afterward for coffee, a snack, and a chat at the Elks Hall in Mannville.
